During his career, Dr. Rajeev Agarwal has achieved various milestones including the setting up the first semen donor bank, first oocyte bank & surrogacy home, and first PGS/ PGD centre in West Bengal. He is an alumnus of Kasturba Medical College in Manipal from where he has obtained his MD. He further received training in Infertility from his alma mater and then from Dr. Sadhana Desai, a well known name in medical fraternity who has been credited with the second IVF baby of India. He has also received training at Cardiff Assisted Reproduction Centre.
Dr. Agarwal has delivered over 50 guest lectures at National and International conferences. Has been awarded the Kumud Tamarkar Award for his work on PCOS. Has contributed to various journals and was a Member of the FOGSI Infertility Committee 2008 - 2011. Dr. Rajeev Agarwal has performed more than 4000 IVF cycles.
He was Chairperson of the scientific workshop committee, ISAR Bengal Annual meet 2016. Currently he is the Joint Organizational Secretary for ISAR 2018 Annual meet.
